An acrylic on canvas painting of flamingos in flight.

I was initially inspired by a beautiful striking photograph of flamingos taking off and decided to paint a canvas using this as my springboard. I chose the unusually wide landscape canvas to accentuate the flight of the flamingos and highlight the grouping nature of these stunningly pink sociable birds. Just imagine them flying across your hallway leading your guests into your home with such gusto.

A wonderfully bright, cheerful piece.
