THE CLIENT: Living Tree

Living Tree is an online community which began through email and has since progressed to social media. They took the next logical step…to come to DSB Designed to build an engaging blog!

So we put our heads together and created a welcoming website with blogs galore for its members and those searching for such a community. Several authors contribute on a regular basis which the members can comment on, discuss and support each other through.

The website is responsive therefore easy to view via computer, tablet and phone. Reflecting the community’s name, the site features forest imagery reinforcing the protective and inclusive yet exploratory nature of the group. The members area is easily personalised. Once you are logged in, you can turn email notifications on and off, comment, share and discuss your thoughts. Each member can choose login details after being securely set up by the host. They can rest assured knowing their details are protected and well appreciated.

The website is by very nature word-heavy so we have balanced this with lots of crisp images which draw you into the world of Living Tree. Combining the natural elements with images depicting life as a Christian, there are photographs that aim to connect people from all walks of life and various traditions.

DSB Designed also created the logo for Living Tree. It communicates “community” with a modern feel and the concept of giving life, encouragement, direction and being connected with one another.
